Join Troop 240

More than 100 years in Scouting
Boy Scout Troop 240 was founded in 1910 as Troop 2 and was chartered in 1920 as Troop 240.
The Boy Scouts teach basic living skills and prepare the boy for life. The merit badges are unit studies. Merit badges introduce possible vocation and avocation choices. Boy Scouting is boy led. The boy who is elected to the position of Senior Patrol Leader runs the troop under the guidance of the Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmasters, who provide protection, encouragement and oversight.
Troop 240 is chartered by the Riverdale Presbyterian Church and meets on Fridays at 7:00pm.
